However, the old shogunate had lost a way. HIJIKATA and ENOMOTO had been left in Esashi despite of offense beyond Hakodate, then Kanrin-Maru had been robbed by the new government and Kaiyo-Maru had been sunk by storm(currently, it has been lifted to reform as the museum). After all, also HIJIKATA and NAKAJIMA were martyred, in 1869, Goryokaku had been occupied by the new government and the every old Japanese prototype had lot.
