From late 1800's, Saburosuke Nakajima had been administrating secuirty for Edo. Strange country ships were under punishment especially. But the black ships with Perry, they are beyond the power.

After World War II, the Uraga Pier had used for treatment of cholera by doctor without regard for life.

Then, he'd built Ho-o-Maru with information of Susquehanna. In end of shogunate, Kanrinmaru departed from Uraga to U.S. to fix their communication. After World War II, the Uraga Pier had used for treatment of cholera by doctor without regard for life.

	SABUROSUKE NAKAJIMA was Feudal era police of magistrate's office in Uraga, middle of 1800's. At the time in Japan, the strainger country ships threatened the security of Edo. The role of Uraga magistrate's office was checking every ship which was to sail to Edo. So, there were many works of commission business in Uraga. It's famous that he'd constructed Ho-o-Maru the first western ship in Japan at the Uraga dock. Then, he researched the shipbuilding technology of Susquehanna. The LAST SAMURAI of Uraga, SABUROSUKE NAKAJIMA, was martyrdom in Hakodate to save the Goryokaku against the new Goverment Force after Tokugawa's shogunate Taiseihoukan(1867).

	The shrine enshrined Tametomo. Tametomo was the brother of Yoritomo Minamoto's father long time ago, threaten with his scared bow skill so dangerous, fell into the exile in Izu Oshima Island. Long time after, in 1820, enshrined him here, woody figure of him from the sea, he had the power of bows.

	Made in Netherlands, like Kanrin-Maru. Tokugawa shogunate had bought the Kaiyo-Maru ship at the dealer of there by much money. The old Tokugawa shogunate had sailed with total 8 commanders like Kanrin-Maru ship to Hakodate, in old Hokkaido for the war against the new Japan government. However, the old shogunate had lost a way. HIJIKATA and ENOMOTO had been left in Esashi despite of offense beyond Hakodate, then Kanrin-Maru had been robbed by the new government and Kaiyo-Maru had been sunk by storm(currently, it has been lifted to reform as the museum). After all, also HIJIKATA and NAKAJIMA were martyred, in 1869, Goryokaku had been occupied by the new government and the every old Japanese prototype had lot. It should be true that they were won the war, old Japanese prototype had changed to the alternative way at all...
