Atagoyama (Uraga-en), the top of the flowers of Uraga

The oldest park in Yokosuka: Atagoyama(Uraga-en) since 1891. The memorial of the NAKAJIMA's honor. Also, the National Opening of Japan was oriented in Uraga, so Yosano's couple had produced the song of Uraga. One of Uraga's thought.

The middle of the park - A monument of Kanrinmaru

The blooming square of cherry.

	In middle of 1800's, the dawn of Japanese technology of building ships, Uraga Shipyard had produced the Western ship for sailing to U.S. So at Atagoyama, the monument of department Kanrinmaru had built. The old shogunate was going to inspire U.S.' culture to Japan with best shogunate Japanese one.
